Description
St Blaise has a long and proud association with The Alice Trust and The National Trust at Waddesdon Manor. St Blaise has been awarded major main contracts; the complete rebuilding of the lost Frog Fountain and reordering whole areas of the Mansion and the various galleries. Numerous minor contracts have been negotiated with the company and a special relationship has developed where St Blaise is regarded for its prompt response and absolute understanding of the most sensitive requirements of the client and his professional team.
The works involved:
- The Frog Fountain was completely rebuilt, including all groundworks, M&E works, associated hard and soft landscaping and conservation of the centrepiece.
- Difficult work under sensitive conditions in a high profile site, to the highest standards of meeting programme, budget and quality requirements.
- All stonemasonry was carved and fixed by St Blaise.
- The conservation, cleaning and repair of the decorative urns and carving was undertaken by our Conservators..
