Without exception St Blaise’s senior management have risen thro’ the trades CV’s and understand how to manage a contract to create an environment where all involved can deliver all that is required when it is required.
We will always sub-contract our trade and conservation skills, but if our core work amounts to, say, more than 60% of the notional contract value, we prefer to main-contract.
St Blaise’s collective knowledge has proved itself time and time again in suggesting approaches that save money, time… and ultimately, the building itself.
Our largest contract to date was worth £4M British Museum and we are one of the few Principal Contractors who largely use their own in-house skilled labour.
