The Lady Chapel, Chichester Cathedral
Description
Chichester Cathedral can now be seen in all its glory after restoration to the Lady Chapel was finished, following internal cleaning, conservation, repair and re-decoration of The Lady Chapel.
The works involved:
- Repair and conservation of the plaster, stonework and monuments.
- Cleaning of the stone work.
- Conservation of the existing decorative painted surfaces.
- Redecoration and gilding.
- Cleaning of the floor.
- New lighting scheme and revisions to electrical outlets.
