Description
Essential masonry repairs to the oldest church in Portsmouth with a 175’ church tower.
The works involved:
- Design and erection of scaffold and passenger hoists.
- Scheduling replacement and repairs.
- Replacing all leaded lights and wrought iron fenestration.
- Setting out of all tracery windows and templating for carving.
- Stone carving and fixing of tracery and pinnacles.
- Shelter coat vulnerable areas and pointing all open and failed joints.
