The Parish Churches of the South West ~ A team dedicated to
their repair & maintenance.
St Blaise “cut its teeth” working on the churches of the
South West, the stock of trade of Historic Building Repair.
The routine of repairing merlons & embrasures, glazing,
ferramenta, parapet gutters, abutment fillets, and the many such works that
safeguard our medieaval churches as a living testament to the faith & skill
of their builders is a tradition whose importance we have never underestimated.
Parochial Church Councils, often not the wealthiest of
patrons, are better served by a small dedicated team, free from the constraints
of mainstream contracting, whilst enjoying the full support of an
infrastructure with 25 years experience in the finest of conservation building.
The manager of our team committed to Churches in the SW has
a trade background in Historic Building Repair, works semi autonomously, enjoys
lower overheads, & prices & manages his own work. His tradesmen are
multi skilled: in all wet works, carpentry & site joinery, stone fixing,
painting & decorating, general maintenance, & minor roofing &
leadwork repairs. One is qualified in rope access abseiling. They have their
own liveried vans, scaffolding & access equipment, & light plant.
We hope that Quinquennial Architects & PCCs in want of a
fast reliable response will make full use of “St Blaise Church repair” &
come to respect it for its “just do it without fuss” friendly & efficient
attitude.
