Description
To allow major re-development of existing 1930s Art Deco offices, decorative joinery panelling was removed from the principle rooms and stored off site prior to reinstatement within a revised layout to meet modern office requirements.
The works involved:
- Recording and scheduling joinery elements, numbering several thousand individual pieces.
- Careful removal and packaging prior to transporting to climate controlled storage.
- Reinstated to incorporate new design and services together with plastered finishes and decorations.
